Traditional avocado toast with mashed up avocado has become a bit cliché, nonetheless it’s a popular breakfast choice for a reason. And while I may not be able to afford a house because of my addiction to avocados, it’s a healthy and flavorful way to start the day. I could put everything bagel seasoning on everything! Everything bagel spice is the spice blend of poppy seeds, sesame seeds, salt, minced onion and minced garlic that is added to the top of “everything bagels”. Luckily this recipe makes more than you will need so you can add it to anything from eggs to popcorn.

How to Make Avocado Toast with Everything Bagel Seasoning
For the everything bagel spice:
Make the everything bagel seasoning. Stir together the spices until thoroughly combined. Set aside or store in an airtight container.
For the avocado toast:
Toast the bread. Toast the bread in a toaster until golden brown.
Add cream cheese and avocado. Spread cream cheese on each slice then top with the slices of avocado.
Top with seasoning. Sprinkle ½ teaspoon of the everything bagel spice mix over the top of each slice of bread.
Add radish. Top with the breakfast radish.
Tips and Tricks for This Recipe
If you’re only using a half of an avocado, the best way to store it is to keep the pit in it, coat it with lemon or lime juice (to keep it from oxidizing), and wrap it in plastic or store it in a plastic bag.
To get the radish to curl – thinly slice it using a mandolin. This helps to thinly shave the radish evenly and thinly. I then add it to a bowl of ice water until I’m ready to serve it.
