Amaretto Sour Recipe
This goal of this classic 70’s cocktail is a smooth, well-balanced drink, not an overly sweet drink.

Ingredients
- 1 large egg white*
- 1¾ ounces amaretto
- ¾ ounce Bourbon
- 1 ounce freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 1 ounce simple syrup
- 1 dash Angostura bitters
- Lemon peel, for garnish
- Maraschino cherries, for garnish
Instructions
- Add the egg white, amaretto, Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and bitters to a cocktail shaker.
- Shake vigorously for 15 seconds without ice.
- Fill the shaker with ice and continue to shake for an additional 15 seconds.
- Strain into a low ball glass or rocks glass.
- Thread the lemon twist and maraschino cherries onto a skewer as a garnish. Serve immediately.
