Cookingwithcocktailrings.com

Combine the marinade

Combine soy sauce, lemon juice, honey, sesame oil & garlic in a small bowl, whisking to combine.

1

Marinate the sea bass

Place the sea bass filets in a glass dish or a plastic container, & cover them with the marinade. Cover & refrigerate for at least 30 min and/or up to 4 hours.

2

Cook the sea bass

When ready, heat vegetable oil in a medium non-stick sauté pan over medium heat. Remove filets from marinade & add to pan skin-side up. Cook sea bass, turning on all sides until cooked through (~6 min).

3

Reduce the sauce

While fish cooks, add extra marinade to a small saucepan. Bring to a rolling boil over med heat & reduce to about half (~5 min). In a small bowl whisk together cornstarch with 2 tbsp of cold water. Whisk this mixture into sauce & continue to simmer until it coats back of a spoon (~2 min).

4

Assemble & serve

To serve, plate the sea bass & serve with rice & roasted vegetables, drizzle with a spoon of the reduced sauce.
